Big Brother and Little Brother are two isolated islands rising from deep offshore waters. Their dramatic walls are covered with colourful soft corals, sponges and impressive sea fans.

Big Brother is also home to its historic lighthouse and two famous wrecks, Numidia and Aida, while Little Brother offers spectacular wall diving and exciting pelagic encounters.

Daedalus Reef

The Lighthouse of the Deep

A remote offshore reef surrounded by deep open water and easily recognised by its iconic red-and-white lighthouse.

The northern plateau is particularly famous for encounters with schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks, while strong currents attract a variety of large pelagic marine life.

Highlights: Hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetips, manta rays, trevallies and spectacular drift diving.

Elphinstone Reef

A Legendary Red Sea Icon

A long, narrow offshore reef near Marsa Alam, famous for its dramatic eastern and western walls and its northern and southern plateaus.

Colourful soft corals cover the steep drop-offs, while its location in open water makes Elphinstone one of the Red Sea’s most exciting sites for pelagic encounters.

Highlights: Oceanic whitetip sharks, grey reef sharks, colourful coral walls and thrilling drift dives.
