What to Expect

Located at the tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where the Gulf of Aqaba, the Gulf of Suez, and the Red Sea meet, Shark Reef & Yolanda Reef rank among the top ten dive sites in the world.
Nutrient-rich currents create a vibrant underwater ecosystem filled with stunning corals and abundant marine life.

Depth & Topography

Shark Reef features a dramatic vertical wall dropping to 700–900 m, connected by a shallow saddle to the Yolanda Plateau—a unique and dynamic underwater landscape.

Marine Life

Expect colorful corals, clouds of Anthias, and seasonal schools of jacks, tuna, batfish, unicornfish, and swirling snapper formations.
On the Yolanda side, you may spot scorpionfish, Napoleon wrasse, moray eels, turtles, and occasional pelagic visitors in the blue.

The Yolanda Cargo

The wreck’s scattered cargo rests at 12–25 m, forming an unusual artificial reef filled with bathtubs, toilets, and even the captain’s BMW—now home to blue-spotted rays and crocodile fish.
