Ras Mohammed Camping

Just a few kilometers away from Sharm el-Sheikh you will find the entrance to Ras Mohammed National Park. This protected area is open for diving as well as overnight camping it is one of the most pristine places you can imagine.

When you stay there overnight the tents are just a few meters from the shore, fall asleep under the stars and wake up to the sound of the waves in the morning. A very special trip which will stay in your memories forever.

The diving is excellent here, beautiful coral heads and nice drop offs, Eagle Rays often pass by and octopus are regularly found hiding in the corals.

The Red Sea Reef and surrounding reef areas include both fringing and hermatypic type reefs.  There are over 220 species of corals accompanied by over 1,000 species of fish, 40 species of starfish, 150 species of crustaceans, and 25 species of sea urchins.

The green turtle and the hawksbill turtle are two of the sea turtles which can be found swimming amongst the reefs fairly regularly.

The Red Sea is the most northern tropical sea and it stretches 1,400 miles (2,250 km) with a surface area of 169,000 square miles (438,000 sq km).  The Ras Muhammad National Park only protects a small portion of the Red Sea Reef. 

Terms and Conditons

• We arrange free transportation from any hotel in Sharm el Sheikh to the diving center, to the dive sites, and back to the hotel.
• We offer 12Ltr Nitrox for free for suitably certified divers
• The trip should be booked minimum 36 hours in advance
• Minimum group size – 2 persons (prices quoted on this website are for group sizes of 6, for booking less than 6 less please ask for prices)
